Family Centered Practice represents a way of working with people that values people and families. Nebraska Health & Human Services System is committed to providing services that are built on this foundation. Family Centered Practice is based on a core set of values, beliefs and principles that recognize that families can contribute to all aspects of services through their active participation. This workshop provides resource parents an overview of Family Centered Practice and enhances their ability to understand and support birth families, which can lead to speedier resolution of family difficulties and more timely permanence for children.

You will have a one hour break for lunch for those with a one day training.
